Xylitol danger

Did you know Xylitol, found in sugarless gum, candies, etc. can be fatal to pets? It is a sugar alcohol and can cause hypoglycemia and liver failure. I just read an article where a dog ingested 10 pieces of Cinnamon Trident and had to be rushed to the ER. Make sure your candies and gum are stored well for your pet's sake ..
